Barb Wire/Poppy Flowers

Premise : WIth the end of Winter, red poppy flowers, which symbolized the blood of the dead soldiers, sprang to life during Spring.

Intro scene

It was a beautiful winter, absolutely white; it seemed menacingly peaceful, trees covered with snow were stationary. Everything had come to a halt as if waiting for things to happen and the air seemed still with no breeze.

An exhausted soldier had walked into a trap of barb wire. He was caught and trapped in a barbed wire. He was struggling hard, the more he struggled, the deeper his flesh was caught into the barb wire, inevitably, the blood flew.

Another soldier caught sight of his fellow mate in agony, he rushed forward with his rifle, attempted to free his comrade from the barb wire, however, he too ended up, together with his mate, caught and trapped in the barb wire. Blood covered the white ground.

Transition...a leaf dropped from the tree.

or a bird flew past and dropped a leaf.

A group of soldiers came along, this time, the platoon leader signalled them to stepped and crossed upon the bodies of the two soldiers. The soldiers quickly and safely crossed to the

other side.

Snow covered those bodies quickly.

Spring arrived. A field of red poppies bloomed right beneath the bodies of the

soldiers who had died during the war.
